For all those interested, this map comes complete with 7 playable factions and one admin locked(behind a portcullis only operable by teleporting through a wall) event faction. The map has a a variety of themes throughout it and lots of room for exploration and roleplay alongside beautiful backgrounds for massive faction wars that end up at well-balanced castles perfectly fit for sieges. There are many fun secrets to discover within this map. If you have any questions steam me: Edwards(KOREA) A live stream tour will take place later on this month once I am done bug and fps testing the map. (If interested in helping with this process. again my steam is above) Hope yall enjoy the spoilers. Theres a few more screenshots on my steam page!

the map looks rly cool but seems rly prop heavy (bad for server performance) and the castles look rly unbalanced. the 2nd picture from the last probs needs some reworks. The castle appears to be on an island with no ladders besides one that is the middle of the gate. Holding that would be ez af with a meh crossfire and a killbox. I think avoiding island castles in general would be smart cuz they are either aids (like kild in realms divided) or op (monti in great divide) also in ur last map you had this nordic themed castle with a longass stair case and that shit was retarded lmao. ID PERSONALLY make sure each castle fun to siege rather then looking cool and DONT go full retard on the armories like you did last map
just some feedback ik its not done yet!!!!!!!!!!!!

The castle is actually on a Peninsula, but I can understand the trouble with it being as such. As stated in the post I am eagerly looking for people to help 2ndcheck my balancing decisions and help me to ensure the map is solid for FPS via in game testing. Would appreciate the help if your interested. Also, sorry was mass posting.

some of the gates look really large which could cause issues when they are broken

some of the gates look really large which could cause issues when they are broken Will be testing them later this week when I get my test server up. If they prove to be a problem its nothing more than a 5 minute fix rescaling some things around it along with the gates themselves to make it look just the same.

its too big, the castles are way too big to defend for NA clans, I can't imagine EU clans having to come up with a battle plan. That castle on an "island" moreso a peninsula looks alright but the doors are the size of about 100 people and the second they go down they are going to be like a bunch of planks. All you need to do to defend that castle is break them from the inside and theres no way the people can get up the ramp since theres a big fucking plank in their way. I would try to make the doors smaller if possible. Also, a ladder right in front of the door is a bad idea. If you remember how the ladder on the left side of Monti on Great Divide is, I would try do something like that, move the ladder to one of the sides and make some lifted ground. Perhaps add some rocks to make it interesting.
Big castles seem to be a problem on your maps, at least the ones I've played. The castles are way too big, there was one up this summer where there was one castle that was reasonable to defend in the middle, but it was pretty jank with weird ruin walls. The drawbridge castle was fucking huge and impossible to defend even with the drawbridge. One castle with a side portcullis was really weird and you could shoot into the inner courtyard from the outer walls. Its fine to make castles that have multiple ways to defend, it makes it more interesting and really fun, but defenders shouldn't be punished for choosing one over the other. They should try to be as balanced as possible.
The really long and narrow castle seems very excessive and big and thus hard to defend, yes I see only 2-3 ways in but they are so far away from each other that 2 groups could easily attack both of them and then its nearly impossible to reinforce the others. Take Jelkala on Great Divide as an example for this, yes there are only a couple ladders but they are so far apart that its nearly impossible to defend, and thus people don't even bother with the outer layers and have to defend the inside. Also the tower in the back I know its really cool and looks badass but it's way too tall and if you can enter it, people get a 360 view of the entire castle and can rain fire down at anybody with basic impunity, you can't aim that high and expect to hit anything.
Can't really tell about the saracen castle but it looks pretty big from that angle, but cool. Try to make castles the size of Great Divide castles, seeing as that's pretty popular and we always consistently have good wars on it. If you want to make big cities rather than compact shitty castles, make an outer city with all the taverns and shit like that with an inner castle.
Also there seem to be a lot of unnecessary props, yes it looks nice and pretty but none of that matters when this is the only game that half the community can run and their toasters are getting raped by a 800 KB scene. I would focus more on the actual gameplay and functionality of the map then the aesthetics and look. If a map is coated in shit but is really fun to play on it doesn't matter. I think this map has promise, I'd like to see an overview of the map. This map has potential, I'd be more than happy to give it a go if some things are changed.
You can PM me if you want to talk further.
