Has anyone recieved word of a potiental release? In the words of my parents: It'll be done when it's done. Go to your room.

Infinity is moving and that’s final. The official persistent kingdoms website even says Clarky has agreed to it. If you want to check the website out, look here: persistent-kingdoms.com/servers

Oh well. I have my doubts now the mod will die with the transition of CRP aswell. The RP community doesn't mind mod switching too much; Case in point: Argad Bay and the various SRP clones.

"The mod" meaning PW or PK? It's obvious he means PK. People have voiced doubts about PK, stating that it might flop, but I'd doubt it considering it's just an expansion to PW--- may I remind people the entirety of the EU community plans on moving.

No, he was just saying he doesn't think it will bust now that the RP community, EU community, and supposedly NA community are moving. Nobody is staying.

I was in fact saying that I have doubts that PK will now flop with the RP and EU, I didn't say I didn't think it won't bust... The communities might move to PK and find that it has serious issues or features that are very unfavourable, nothing is set in stone and the issues that this mod will have are still yet to found. But I have one major problem; With two EU communities moving onto the mod the mod will inherently be more eurocentric in updates and features meaning the NA community will be thrown into the shadow of these communities. Knowing Pike the owner of CRP who has always wanted a mod of his own will most likely attempt to force or bribe the mod makers into adding features that only really benefit his server and toll the experience of the other two communities.

I highly doubt that Pike will be able to influence the PK developers in any way. They have clearly stated that this is a mod for the entire community, and have been extra careful not to implement features that only fit the Phoenix community/rules.

Many mod makers have said things in the past to sway or gain the communities they want, I also believe that Pike won't have much of a sway but it is Pike we're talking about in the end. To add onto the Phoenix stuff, if the mod makers plan on making a community backed mod with constant updates it won't really matter how hard they try to balance out how much each attention receives as Phoenix will become a majority.

Majority of the new features are focusesd around the EU and NA community. RP community are getting small changes: New Armour New Dog Model Being able to sit on chairs and walk Which the community desperately wants.

So far, the main consensus of the admin team is perfectly fine with switching over to the upcoming PK mod. Of course, some have expressed counter-opinions to the switch. Anyways, along with the admins' opinions as a whole along with the community's expressed opinions about wanting to switch, obviously we are going to be switching. If Infinity is to be a existing any further, you must accommodate to the player base. However, "when we are switching" has not yet been decided entirely. There is an idea when the mod is expected to be released and then there is a time frame in which Infinity may switch over afterwards. Currently, its play by play. Will need to speak to more of my admins along with more of the future clan leaders that are so far expected to be partaking on this future mod. And if the time frame works for the admins, clan leaders, and community then we will proceed forward. Also, however amount of time it does take us to switch, will allow the EU's (and whoever else) to test the module and could in turn remove the launch bugs that could take place before we, as a NA community, move to PK.
