So are we going to test this map? We should all get together on a map test server and discuss, pros and cons and actually make it a good map.. Im one guy, who can make anything we want in warband editor. The scene is set, Egypt/ greece/ whatever. Should we discuss what works about these castles and what doesn't? I personally thought they are pretty decent but I expect some things to be off as they always are in pw maps. Great Divide had years of perfecting, Rhadaron also, Realm divided, Normandy even more so. Lowlands, VoS all had teething problems. So I'm all ears

The ones who are missing are the ones who would just not return because new things scare them and godforbid if something refreshing is introduced and is open for change to fit the server population's wants and desires. :3 I usually have your posts blocked but just thought Id open this one and troll you. The way this community thinks is backasswards in that they want the same repetitive cycle of bullshit that is only replayable for so long and usually goes hard for 2-3 months then people get bored as fuck and leave then say they wont come back unless things are exactly like they were when they quit because things were so boring. We arnt gonna see any change in this cycle if we arnt open to trying new things. There is quite literally no excuse to not play this map right now as that the people who are complaining about it arnt even playing but once a week (if that). The community as is deserves some fresh air rather than dying of bordem on a map like skyrim that they have played countless times over but still come on daily because they enjoy the theory of PW.

There is no reason to change the cycle, people are perfectly content with how the game is played. While I’m not opposed to the map the masses are and it would be a bad idea to piss off the remaining clans. I’m not sure when Edwards will understand that forcing completely unnecessary change isn’t a proper option, see celestial and for a more recent example swamplands.
Gwae, if I were you change up the castles a bit, especially the square ones. Get a bit creative with them, design something that’s never been done before, or jew some inspiration from a popular map’s castle and uniquely expand on it.

Roy, You and Meli arent the masses. You're the only two members of the community to hop on the forums and say no to the map. You haven't played the game in 5 days though Im sure you will probably say you have work or whatever you are doing with your life now. Meli hasnt been on PK that Im aware of for weeks as nikkle keeps saying Meli is dead and for him to nikkle: *TRANSMISSION BEGINS* Mike Echo Lima India Golf Echo Tango Oscar November *TRANSMISSION ENDS* but Im sure he's busy with his life as well or like other players he just simply does not give a fuck about the game at the moment because its boring because of repetitiveness.

The right side of the map looks alright, but the castle at the bottom right could use some work. I don’t like wood and then stone, use the same type of prop. And while your at it make it a lot more unique. Maybe add some trees in the area.
The bottom center castle needs to be reworked. It’s way too bland to be appealing.
The what I’m assuming is an aqueduct cutting though the map center is kind of awkward. Perhaps take it out and instead make it a river, this would make the map somewhat more interesting and add another barrier for the center bottom castle to get to other places, namely the close bottom left.
As for the bottom left, i would spice it up with a bastion jutting out though I’m not sure where. Also, I’m assuming above it is an arena? Make sure you can’t shoot from he arena into the battlements, this was an issue on swamplands for a few places. If you want this effect, one siege tower is perfectly acceptable.
Maybe spice up the center of the map with more trees, terrain and perhaps extend the river to that side of the map.
As for the main city, if I’m correct you have two castles in it. Yeah, don’t expect two factions to be that close. People will just avoid it to avoid getting blitzkreiged. If you want to have two factions within a city, have one be a castle, the other a town watch. When was the last ine on great divide you saw old port get defended unironically?
As for the top left castle, make it more unique. Rework it entirely.
That’s my constructive criticism.
