It is very annoying to play as an archer or crossbowman and have to switch classes, paying 3500 plus equipment costs, every time I switch castles. I think it would be beneficial to allow ranged players to have both crossbowman and archer classes trainable at every castle. Stocks for both don't have to be at every castle, but it would improve game play, as I and many others wouldn't have to run to the bank every time we switch castles to get more money just to train while no other classes have to do so.

I understand it's part of balancing which is why I didn't ask for both stocks. I only asked for the training.

There is because it allows the person to train. They might be carrying the equipment for that class and just want to train that class instead of dropping 2-3k worth of equipment to buy new stuff.

Also, archers can use crossbows. They just aren't as accurate.
I don't really see the balancing argument as crossbows and bows are naturally balanced as one does more damage but takes longer to reload.

You never encounter the problem so its not a problem to you, but all my ranged players get livid when a castle only has crossbow or vice versa because they prefer playing a certain class at the time due to having a bow loadout when logging in.

Theres no harm in adding training of both archer and xbow to each faction. The castles armories do not have to change, and its almost next to impossible to successfully defend a siege as a xbow in an archer castle. Im talking a real siege, not say, RCC, running in circles around your castle and you have to waste bolts and arrows into them. When I say there is no harm in adding both classes, I mean there is little advantage to it as well. Its pretty pointless, but it does not harm so why not trying it? I know Praven on Great Divide is an archer castle and has both trainings. I have never heard of anyone complain about them on a forum.

not even really worth the effort of having to add it to all the castles in all the maps either

Takes about 5 minutes to add both trainings to every castle

and once again we're back to the point that it is useless to add and therefore is a waste of time
